The tablet market shows no signs of slowing down, even during this sweltering summer, and this time we have a new release: the TECLAST T70PRO. This is a large-format tablet with a 14-inch 2.2K display, making it ideal for watching videos or using it as a laptop by adding a keyboard and mouse.
Inside its metal body, this tablet features a MediaTek Helio G100 processor—a slight upgrade from the MediaTek Helio G99—which will allow it to run Android 16 and most apps smoothly, as long as we don’t ask too much of it. It has 8 GB of soldered-on RAM, and for storage, there’s a single version with 128 GB, expandable via microSD card up to 1 TB.
The TECLAST T70PRO’s display is a 14-inch IPS inCell TDDI panel with a resolution of 2240×1400 pixels and a 60 Hz refresh rate. In terms of photography, it features an 8 MP front-facing camera and a 16 MP rear camera with an LED flash.
It features Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, and a 4G-LTE modem with a dual SIM slot. For connectivity, it includes a USB Type-C port, and the battery is 10,000 mAh with 18 W PD charging.
This tablet features four built-in speakers with a K-series amplifier; it is just 7.8 mm thick and weighs 800 grams. The operating system is Android 16, and it is Widevine L1 certified, which allows for FHD-quality streaming on paid platforms such as Netflix, Disney, and others.
