Infinix NOTE 60, a mid-range phone with Dimensity 7400 and JBL speakers

The new Infinix NOTE 60 has just been unveiled, a very complete mid-range device that stands out for its JBL sound system.

Within this mid-range, which will probably not reach Europe, we find a Mediatek Dimensity 7400 processor, slightly more powerful than the previous Dimensity 7300, which has an Antutu v11 score of around 990,000 points. The first thing that stands out about this Infinix is its IP64-certified aluminum unibody, with minimal bezels of 1.87 mm, which hides an advanced cooling system. Otherwise, it is a very complete device for its price, as it comes with eSIM support, NFC, and much more.

The operating system is Android 16 with the XOS 16 layer which, as standard, has the Infinix AI suite where we can find different utilities supported by this technology.

Infinix NOTE 60 specifications

The SoC of this new smartphone is the Mediatek Dimensity 7400, an Octa Core manufactured in 4 nm. Within this integrated circuit, we have two clusters, the most powerful with 4 ARM Cortex-A78 processors reaching 2.6 GHz and the most efficient with 4 ARM Cortex-A55 processors reaching 2.0 GHz. The GPU is a Mali-G615 MC2 that reaches 1047 MHz and includes compatibility with HDR10 technology. We also have an NPU 655 for artificial intelligence tasks.

The RAM comes in 8 or 12GB LPDDR5X versions, although as always, we can expand it virtually with storage memory. For storage, we have options with 256 GB UFS 2.2, which we can also expand via a micro SD slot up to, we assume, 2 TB capacity cards.

Screen, cameras, and battery life

The screen panel used by this Infinix is a 6.36-inch AMOLED with a resolution of 2644 x 1208 pixels, a maximum brightness of 4500 nits, 144 Hz refresh rate, and Gorilla Glass 7i protection.

For selfies, there is a 13 MP front camera that complements the rear sensors integrated into a circular module, with a 50 MP OIS main sensor supported by an 8 MP wide-angle lens. It also has an in-screen fingerprint reader, 5G/4G connectivity with Dual SIM/eSIM, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4, FM radio, IR sensor, NFC, and GPS.

In terms of connection interfaces, this new device has a USB Type-C 2.0 OTG port for data and charging. The battery is 6500 mAh with fast charging up to 45 W, 30 W wireless charging, and DTS-compatible JBL speakers for audio.

Price and where to buy

  • The new Infinix NOTE 60 is expected to hit the international market shortly at a price of around €220.
