We continue with the announcements and leaks of new Intel processors, today it is the turn of the Core i5-8269U an interesting chip for the segment of very low consumption and that therefore we will see integrated in all types of laptops, 2 in 1 and inside some compact miniPC’s, this processor has leaked thanks to a capture of SiSoftware Sandra.
This chip that will use the new Cannon Lake architecture and that also jumps to the manufacturing process at 10nm, which leads to energy efficiency something we can noted in its TDP of possibly only 15W. Presumably it will also incorporate a new built-in Gen 10 iGPU graphics that presumably will double power to the previous generation GPUs in an attempt to stay close to the new AMD Ryzen APUs for notebooks.
The new Intel Core i5-8269U will also include 4 physical cores and 8 threads with a base frequency of 2.6Ghz and will integrate a 6MB L3 cache. We hope to know soon the rest of the details of this new Intel processor.
