Intel continues to surprise us with its NUC models, today we found a new product called Intel Quartz Canyon that mounts a powerful Intel Xeon processor and allows us to mount our own discrete GPU. A product for a very specific user niche that needs an ultra-compact workstation.
The new Intel Quartz Canyon NUC allows you to mount a 9th generation Intel Xeon E or Intel Core i7 vPro processor, products intended for workstation work with intensive calculations. Inside the box we can mount a graphic card that as indicated in the descriptive image of the product can be of high level, if it fits in clear size.
This compact workstation also has two Thunderbolt ports, two network connectors, support for Optate memory and ECC. A Wifi 6 AX200 adapter is included that allows to reach up to 2.4Gbps and mounts an internal 500W PSU that limits in some part the GPU that we can mount. Will be certainly be interesting to see inside this little beast.
