Ioutdoor X a ruggedized with slim design

Interesting ruggedized smartphone that we find today and that comes to us from the Chinese brand Ioudoor specialized in this type of terminals. The Ioutdoor X is a shielded mobile phone with a metallic and plastic body and IP68 certified protection that surprises us by having a thickness of only 0.39 inches (1.04 cm), an unusual measure in this type of terminals, usually much thicker. The rest of the Ioutdoor X hardware is within what is a midrange, with 6GB of RAM and ample 128GB storage space as highlights.

SoC, RAM and storage

The Ioutdoor X includes the Helio P23 SoC as engine, a chip manufactured in 16 nm and that has 8x ARM Cortex-A53 processors distributed in a pair of clusters, the most powerful with 4x ARM Cortex-A53 processors able to reach 2 , 3 GHz and the second also repeats ARM Cortex-A53 processors that stay at 2.2Ghz speed, on the other hand the GPU is an ARM MALI G71MP2. This terminal also includes 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of expandable storage memory thanks to the included microSD card reader.

Screen and other features

Ioutdoor X includes a 5.7″ IPS screen manufactured by SHARP with a resolution of 1440 x 700 pixels, Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection and which is accompanied by a 13MP front camera pair of the rear 16MP + 8MP, the latter with flash and fingerprint reader in the same area. It also integrates WiFi Dual Band, Bluetooth 4.1, NFC, GPS, FM Radio, modem 4G Cat.7 with dual SIM and as we say 3400 mAh battery with fast charge.

At the operating system level includes Android 8.1 and in the connectors section we have a USB Type-C port and a 3.5mm audio jack.
