The new high-end iQOO 15 terminal has just been announced in China, with high-performance specifications that debuts a Samsung 2K LEAD OLED display with 3168 x 1440px resolution, 144Hz refresh rate and promises unprecedented quality.
A screen that is also faster in response than normal, something that indicates it especially for gaming, something for which this smartphone is specially designed. The software for optimizing games is accompanied among other things by a 4D vibration engine, symmetrical stereo speakers and 25 antennas around the entire body to maximize data reception and response speed when playing network games.
This 6.85″ handset is powered by the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, a processor also used by the Xiaomi 17 that comes with the new Oryon cores up to 4.6 GHz, with high efficiency and power thanks to its 3 nm process. The RAM has options of 12 and 16 GB LPDDR5X, for storage you can choose between 256/512 GB and 1 TB UFS 4.1, and we have NFC connectivity, Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6.0.
We will not drain the battery of this IQOO easily, as we have a 7000 mAh with 100 W fast charging and 40 W wireless. The photographic section is more than good, since we have a 50 MP OIS main camera, 50 MP optical zoom x3, 50 MP wide angle and 32 MP front camera.
Finally, the operating system is Android 16 with the OriginOS 16 layer.
Price and availability
- The new iQOO 15 can currently only be purchased in China for a price starting at 505 € at the exchange rate. It will not reach the West, but for the brave there is always AliExpress.
