New tablet from the well-known Chinese brand IQOO, the iQOO Pad Air, a smaller and lighter version of the IQOO Pad that is still very interesting.
This is a mid-range tablet intended for multimedia playback and gaming, something that is noticeable in its good 11.5″ screen that reaches 144 Hz maximum refresh rate. The screen is accompanied by a full 3D audio system with a total power of no less than 6 W and supported by IQOO’s immersive Super Audio 5.0 technology.
The SoC is a Snapdragon 870 Octa Core, a solution that is still very suitable for any home user and for any use that comes complete with DDR5 RAM for speed. Finally, the operating system is Android 13 with the OriginOS 3 layer.
IQOO Pad Air Specifications
The new iQOO Pad Air is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 Octa Core SoC manufactured on 7nm. This chip reaches up to 3.2 GHz in one of its ARM Cortex-A77 cores, has three other ARM Cortex-A77 cores and four ARM Cortex-A55 low-power CPUs. In the graphics section, we have an Adreno 650 GPU that allows us to play all demanding titles without problems.
This tablet has options with 8/12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128/256/512 GB of high-speed UFS 3.1 storage memory expandable via micro SD card slot.
Display and other notable features
The iQOO Pad Air has an 11.5-inch IPS display with 2800 × 1840 resolution, 1400:1 contrast, 144 Hz maximum refresh, and light, Hall and colour temperature sensors. The front camera is 8 MP, the rear 12 MP and in the audio section we have 4 speakers with a total power of 6 W and two microphones with noise reduction.
We also have a USB-C 3.2 Gen1 port, 4-pin keyboard connector, Wi-Fi 6 connectivity, Bluetooth 5.2 and NFC. The battery is 8500 mAh which gives us an autonomy of up to 12.6 hours and supports 44 W fast charging. The measurements of this new tablet are 259 x 176 x 6.67 mm, the weight is approximately only 530 g, and it also has a magnetic keyboard that is purchased separately.
