It has just gone on sale in China the new iQOO Z9 Turbo+ a powerful high-end terminal full of cutting-edge technology. It is able to move any app and game in top quality.
This new iQOO is accompanied by a premium SoC as is the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 accompanied by a powerful ARM Immortalis G720 iGPU, and has a result of more than 2,300,000 points in Antutu v9. The rest of its hardware is up to par, although it draws our attention to its good battery of 6400 mAh that we will fill quickly in any outlet thanks to fast charging of 66 W.
Its body has IP65 certification against dust and water, weighs 196 grams, thickness of 7.98 mm and screen frames of 1.54 mm. Its operating system is Android 14, although we have the custom layer of the brand OriginOS 4.

The iQOO Z9 Turbo+ (V2417A) smartphone includes a powerful MediaTek Dimensity 9300 SoC, an Octa Core manufactured in 4 nm by TSMC. This is a chip with an ARM Cortex-X4 processor that reaches 3.4 Ghz, 3 ARM Cortex-X4 that reach 2.85 Ghz and 4 ARM Cortex-A720 that reach up to 2.0 GHz. We also find a MediaTek NPU 790 for iA work and an ARM Immortalis G720 MC12 iGPU that allows us to play demanding titles with total fluidity. A SoC that has a high Antutu v9 score of over 2,300,000 points and is cooled by a liquid system.
The RAM memory we have soldered on board is 12/16 GB LPDDR5X that allows us to load multiple apps or navigation tabs. For storage, we have versions with 256 / 512 GB UFS 4.0 high-speed expandable by micro SD card up to 2 TB.
Display and other features
The display of the iQOO is a 6.78″ AMOLED C8 LTPS, with a resolution of 2800 x 1260 pixels with maximum brightness of 4500 nits, 20:9 screen ratio and a configurable refresh rate of up to 144 Hz. In the photographic section in the rear area we have an OIS camera with mid-range SONY LYT-600 sensor (formerly IMX882) of 50 MP supported by an 8 MP wide angle, while in the front area we have a 16 MP camera.
For audio, we have two speakers and the battery is 6400 mAh with 80 W fast charging and 7.5 W reverse. We also find an IR sensor/emitter, NFC, GPS, 4G/5G modem, Wi-Fi 7 wireless connectivity, Bluetooth 5.4 and as a connector we find a single USB-C port.
Price and where to buy
- The new Android-powered smartphone iQOO Z9 Turbo+ is already available in China for about $300 at the exchange rate, although we assume that it won’t be long before it shows up on AliExpress.
