If we are thinking of setting up a home NAS, the JONSBO N2 can be a good alternative, thanks to its volume and large storage capacity.
This NAS enclosure is available in black and white, and is compatible with mini-ITX motherboards and SFX power supplies. The case has a removable front panel where we can install 5 SATA 3.5″ disks, in the internal area we can additionally add another 2.5″ HDD. On the board, depending on our needs, we can install an active fan up to 65 mm or an aluminum block to make it passive.
With a volume of only 11 Liters this case allows mounting dedicated GPUs with two fans. Undoubtedly an interesting solution if we like to assemble our hardware and not jump to a mini PC with everything integrated.
JONSBO N2, 5-disk NAS box
The JONSBO N2 is an attractive enclosure with multiple ventilation slots and easy access to its internal components. The dimensions are 222.5 x 222.5 x 224 mm and the weight is only 2.9 kg. This case combines 2 mm aluminum side panels and 1 mm steel structure. On the sides and in the lower area there are several dust filters to avoid dirt.
Inside we can mount a SFX power supply up to 150 mm, a CPU fan up to 65 mm as those that come by default with the processors and allows a low-profile GPU up to 197 mm in length.
Other features
In the case we can install up to five 3.5″ disks on one side, in addition to a 2.5″ drive. In total we can get up to 44 TB adding all possible HDDs.
On the front we have an aluminum power button, USB-A 3.0 port, audio jack and a 10 Gbps USB-C 3.2 port for connecting external drives.
