It seems incredible that we are in 2019 and according to which brands launch miniPC’s market with retro configurations such as the Jumper EZbox Z8. At this point and more at the price of this RAM is nonsense to continue using only 2GB of RAM to move Windows 10, not to mention the Intel SoC that is used, a Chip of 2016 widely surpassed today. In short, a mini PC to forget by hardware and price because for a few bucks we can buy a miniPC with 6GB of RAM, a much more modern processor and more storage.
Processor, RAM and storage
The miniPC Jumper EZbox Z8 includes the processor Intel Atom x5-Z8350 a Quad Core x64 with 2GB of RAM and internal storage of 32GB of internal storage possibly expandable because in the bottom of the miniPC we see a door to access the interior.
Other specifications
This miniPC includes Dual Band WiFi 2.4 / 5 Ghz, Bluetooth 4.0 and Gigabit Ethernet in terms of network connectors. It has two USB 2.0 ports, two USB 3.0 ports, a USB Type-C, microSD card reader, 3.5mm audio jack, VGA video output and an HDMI 1.4 that allows video output with resolutions up to 4K @ 30fps .

For this price it’s really not worth it but I have a similar miniPC ( bought for $83 ) and while it’s crap with Windows 10 it’s just perfect for a mini server with Ubuntu. The CPU is more than enough for Linux and so it the 2 GB of RAM add to that the fanless feature and it being x86 and working out of the box with any Linux and you’ve got yourself a very good mini server.
