K98 PLUS another cheap Chinese TV-Box with RK3528, WiFi 6 and Android 13

Another low-priced Chinese TV-Box that appears on AliExpress, this time called K98 PLUS, and that has a plastic box with a circular design.

Inside we find the Quad Core Rockchip RK3528 processor as engine accompanied by Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity. As usual in TV-Boxes that come with this Rockchip chip, we find Android 13 installed as the system, although you already know that it will not be a particularly optimized version, and we will surely have a modest performance. In short, yet another cheap Box option with the RK3528 SoC that can serve as a multimedia player, to run apps and little else.

The TV-Box K98 PLUS includes as its heart the new low cost Rockchip RK3528 SoC. This Chip is a Quad Core with low consumption ARM Cortex-A53 processors and a modest ARM MALI-450 MP2 GPU whose clock speed is unknown.

For RAM, we have the usual versions with 2/4 GB DDR3. For storage, we find options with 16/32/64 GB of eMMc memory. We also have a micro SD card reader, so we can always expand the storage memory up to an extra 64 GB.

Other features

In the field of wireless connectivity, we have a good endowment to find Wi-Fi 6 with internal antenna and Bluetooth 5.0. As connectors, we find in its small square plastic box a USB 2.0 port, another USB 3.0, a 10/100 network connector, an SPDIF for digital audio, a 3.5 mm jack for analogue audio and video output and an output port HDMI 2.0b video that allows us to take video up to 4K@60fps resolutions.

With the TV-Box K98 PLUS a simple infrared remote control, power supply and HDMI cable are included in the pack to be able to start using this Box just by taking it out of the box and connecting it to our TV.
