New mini PC with the name of Kingnovy D12 Plus presented, a machine that offers new generation AMD Strix Point processors.
The new Kingnovy D12 Plus offers a peculiar design with ventilation slots in the upper area. As engine we have processors manufactured by TSMC in 4 nm, on the one hand, we have the powerful AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 with 12 cores / 24 threads and on the other hand the AMD Ryzen AI 7 H 350 with 8 cores / 16 threads. Both with a core for AI with 50 TOPS of computing power and high performance iGPU Radeon 890M/860M that is manufactured with the new RDNA 3.5 architecture, which allows us to play quite demanding games.
A computer that offers USB4 and OCuLink ports to connect an external GPU easily. Due to its design, we can also hang it behind a monitor thanks to its VESA support.
Kingnovy D12 Plus Specifications
In the Kingnovy D12 Plus we have the AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 processor with 12 cores and 24 threads and reaching 5.1 GHz. It integrates a Radeon 890M GPU with 16 CU with a speed of 2.9 MHz. As a more economical option we have theAMD Ryzen AI 7 H 350 processor that has 8 cores and 16 threads and reaches 5 GHz. The GPU is the Radeon 860M with 8 CU up to 3 GHz. In both we have an AI core of 50 TOPS for artificial intelligence tasks.
As for the RAM we have two SODIMM DDR5 5600 MHz slots that allow to use them in Dual Channel configuration. For storage we have two M.2 2280 NVMe PCIe x4 SSD, which allows us to expand up to 8 TB of storage.
Connectivity and other features
To connect wirelessly, a Wifi 6E card and Bluetooth 5.2 are installed. As connectors on the front of the case we find 3.5 mm audio jack, a USB4, two USB-A 3.2 and USB4 and OCuLink ports for connecting an external GPU. At the back we have a USB-A 3.2, a USB 2.0 and two high-speed Ethernet 2.5 GB network connectors. As video outputs we have three options HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.4 and USB-C with 8K@60 HDR support.
This computer offers Windows 11 PRO by default, but if we want we can install a Linux distribution, as it is compatible. It also has VESA support for hanging it on a monitor.
