KUU A6, new 16″ 2.5K lightweight laptop with Intel Core i7 CPU

New lightweight notebook called KUU A6, featuring a powerful Intel Core i7-1280P processor with an integrated Intel Xe GPU.

The KUU A6 is a new laptop with aluminium case and reduced weight that includes the powerful Intel Core i7-1280P processor with fourteen cores and twenty threads. This chip has an Intel Xe GPU, which is much better than the Intel HD Graphics that many ultrabooks still have. In addition, we have a good 16″ screen with a 2.5K resolution, so we can work with word processors and browsers very comfortably.

An attractive hardware configuration that also integrates 16 GB of expandable RAM, a 512 GB NVMe SSD and another SATA slot for a second SSD.

KUU A6 Specifications

This lightweight KUU A6 integrates the Intel Core i7-1280P processor manufactured in 10 nm (Intel 7) with a power consumption of 20/64 W TPD. This chip has 14 cores, six high performance and eight low power, in total can handle 20 processes up to 4.8 GHz. As GPU, we find an Intel Xe with 96 EU up to 1.2 GHz. A processor to move any demanding design program, but not very oriented to gaming.

The RAM memory is 16 GB DDR4 3200 MHz that can be expanded thanks to its two SO-DIMM slots accessible from the bottom. Meanwhile, for storage, we have a 512 GB M.2 NVMe SSD expandable with another free M.2 NVMe slot.

Other notable features

The screen of the KUU A6 mounts a 16-inch IPS panel with a resolution of 2560 x 1,600 pixels, a 16:9 aspect ratio and in its upper frame we find an HD webcam with microphone. For wireless connectivity, we have Wi-Fi 6 Bluetooth 5.2 with internal antenna.

In terms of connectors, we have three USB 3.0 ports, two USB Type-C ports (one full) and 3.5 mm audio jack. We have power connector for the battery is 57 Wh which has an autonomy of about 7 hours.

The installed operating system is Windows 11, we have a generous trackpad and the backlit keys are in English.
