Lenovo G66, Lenovo’s first TV-Box designed for the Western market

With much delay but it seems that finally arrives the TV-Box Lenovo Ministation to the western market although renamed commercially to the name of Lenovo G66. A device oriented at the time to the Chinese market that includes the Tencent OS series and now seems to come with an Android version more consistent with Western tastes. As you can see from this team, its unique design with a cube-shaped perforated in its central part stands out, although its SoC, a Rockchip that although powerful, has a lot of time behind it, also calls our attention. Soon you will have more details of this TV-Box since we have a unit on the way for your review.

Lenovo G66

The Lenovo G66 TV-Box is powered by a RockChip RK3288 Quad Core SoC that includes four ARM Cortex-A17 processors and a Mali-T764 GPU capable of decoding 4K video. We also found 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage memory, WiFi AC with internal antenna and Bluetooth 4.1. At the level of connectivity we do not have many options available, we only find a USB 2.0 port, 10/100 network connector, an HDMI 2.0 video output and a power connector.

The operating system is Android 5.1 and among the accessories we also find a remote control.
