The new Lenovo Legion Y700 2024 has just been launched in China, a tablet that substantially updates in all aspects the version launched in 2023.
A tablet that is now driven by the powerful high-end Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC where we have an iGPU with the latest technologies to enjoy games, as it even supports real-time ray tracing. Its screen continues at 8.8″ 2.5K, although we now have LPDDR5X RAM and high-speed UFS 4.0 storage memory. This Lenovo includes software to manage the configuration of each game and get the most out of it, vibration engine and two USB-C so we can charge the tablet at the same time and have any accessory connected.
The operating system is Android 14 but includes the UNZUI 16.1 layer and finally, comment that its measurements are 208.54 x 129.46 x 7.79 mm and weighs around 350 grams.

This new tablet includes the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Octa Core SoC with ARM Armv9 architecture and manufactured in 4 nm. It has a main ARM Cortex-X4 core that reaches up to 3.3 GHz, three high-performance ARM Cortex-A720 cores at 3.2 GHz, another two ARM Cortex-A720 cores at 3.0 GHz and two low-power ARM Cortex-A520 cores that reach 2.3 GHz. Of course, we have a Qualcomm Hexagon NPU to process iA jobs.
In the graphics section, we have an Adreno 750 GPU that allows us to move everything to the maximum. This iGPU supports OpenGL ES 3.2, OpenCL 2.0, DirectX 12, Vulkan 1.1, has support for real-time ray tracing, Lumen Global illumination from Unreal Engine 5, AV1 decoding and much more.
This tablet comes with 12/16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM soldered on board, that we can virtually expand with 8 GB more of ROM. For storage, we have versions with high speed memory 256/512 GB UFS 4.0, with option to expand it up to 1 TB thanks to the micro SD card reader included.
Display, network, and autonomy
The display of the Lenovo Legion Y700 2024 is an 8.8-inch IPS In-Cell with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels, 165 Hz refresh, 16:10 aspect ratio and 500 nits brightness. In terms of cameras we have an 8 MP front camera with two microphones and on the back we find another 13 MP camera. We also have wireless connectivity Wifi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 and light sensor, gravity and gyroscope.
Its battery has a capacity of 6550 mAh with an autonomy that can reach up to 14 h depending on the use and includes fast charging up to 68 W. Its body integrates 2 Dolby Atmos compatible stereo speakers and for connectivity we find two USB Type-C 3.2 Gen2 ports.
Price and where to buy
- The new Lenovo Legion Y700 2024 is currently available only in China for about $400 at the exchange rate. To enjoy the international version, we will probably have to wait until 2025.
