Lenovo Tab M8 (4th Gen) an affordable 8-incher for kids

The 8-inch Lenovo Tab M8 (4th Gen) revises its price downward, making it more competitive in the cheaper range of tablets.

This is a tablet from this well-known brand aimed at children with modest hardware for browsing, watching video or playing games that is powered by a Mediatek Helio A22 processor that includes advanced AI functions such as facial unlocking, face recognition in photography and other features. Its weight of around 320 grams and its size of only 198 × 120 mm × 9 mm makes it easy for the little ones to transport and use anywhere.

As an operating system on the Lenovo Tab M8 (4th Gen) we have Android 12 that integrates Google Kids Space and will soon be upgradable to Android 13.

The Lenovo Tab M8 (4th Gen) is powered by a Mediatek Helio A22 SoC from Mediatek (MT6761) manufactured in 12nm. A chip with ARM Cortex-A53 cores capable of reaching 2 GHz that integrates a Power VR GE8320 GPU with OpenGL ES 3.2 and Vulkan 1.1 support that allows us to run medium-demand titles in 3D.

We have 2 GB of LPDDR4X RAM on board and also 32 GB of expandable storage memory via the microSD card reader up to 64 GB.

Display and other features

Its screen is an 8-inch ADS with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels with a maximum brightness of 350 nits and a 2 MP front camera that complements the 5 MP rear camera. We also find Dual Band Wi-Fi aC, Bluetooth 5.0 and two speakers and microphone in the audio section

The battery is 5100 mAh with fast charging and at the connectivity level we have a USB Type-C 2.0 port for power and data and a 3.5 mm audio jack to connect headphones and/or microphone.
