A new Google TV-certified projector called the Magcubic HY450GT, a system that lets you enjoy Netflix and similar services with total ease.
This projector features a built-in Google TV Stick with all the necessary DRM permissions to use apps like Netflix in Full HD. It also comes with an official Bluetooth remote control with a microphone and support for streaming content via Chromecast. It offers 800 ANSI lumens of brightness, and the projector’s native resolution is Full HD at 1920 x 1080 pixels. For audio, it features a 15W speaker and supports Dolby Audio decoding.
The HY450GT features a camera and sensor module on the front panel. This provides automatic keystone correction and autofocus, as well as detection of objects that interfere with the image.

This Magcubic HY450GT projector uses the classic LCD projection system with a native FHD 1080p resolution, offering a contrast ratio of up to 2000:1 and a maximum brightness of 1100 ANSI lumens. Focus and keystone correction are performed automatically. You can achieve a screen with recommended dimensions ranging from 40″ to 150″ by placing the projector at a distance of between 0.9 and 3.2 m.
As we can see on the box, it appears there are no control buttons; there is only a power button. We must use the included Bluetooth remote, which features a microphone for giving commands to Google Assistant.
Connections and other features
Powering its Android TV 15 system is an unknown SoC, but it’s likely an AMLogic S905Y4 or a similar chip from Realtek or MediaTek the only ones capable of handling DRM for Netflix and other paid services. It also features Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.0, allowing you to pair speakers or headphones. You can cast content from your phone using Chromecast.
