Today we have a new TV-Box that receives the name of MAGICSEE N6 MAX, a mediaplayer that includes the powerful Hexa Core RK3399 SoC. This Box calls above all its attention for its box design with a metal plate as a dissipator on the upper face, a basic but effective system that is interesting. This SoC is undoubtedly one of the most powerful in the market and this new design will help to dissipate the heat generated.
SoC, RAM and storage
The MAGICSEE N6 MAX model has as engine the Soch Hexa Core RK3399 from Rockchip that has a cluster of 2 ARM Cortex-A72 processors able to reach 2.0Ghz and another cluster with 4 ARM Cortex-A53 processors. Its GPU is a Mali-T860mp4 that supports H.26 / H.264 and VP9 codec decoding up to 4K@60fps video resolutions. We also find 4 GB of LPDDR3 RAM and 32 GB of expandable eMMc storage memory thanks to the microSD card reader.
In the section of wireless connectivity we have Wifi Dual band with external antenna and Bluetooth 4.0. The different connectors of this equipment are located in its rear part, where we have a USB 3.1 Type-C port, another USB 3.0, two USB 2.0 ports, HDMI 2.0, Gigabit Ethernet connector and a 3.5mm jack for compatible audio output apparently with SPDIF.
The operating system of this TV-Box is Android 7.1 and includes among the accessories a conventional IR remote control.
