Today we come across a peculiar retro console called Magicx Zero 40, a machine with a vertical screen ideal for ship games or emulating Nintendo DS.
On the front we have an IPS OCA touch screen with a size of 4 inches and resolution of 800 x4 80 pixels that allows you to play all those Nintendo DS titles comfortably. We have the Allwinner A133P processor, a chip that gives us enough power to emulate machines up to PSP or PS1. Thanks to its compact dimensions we can easily carry it anywhere in our pocket.
The operating system is based on Linux and has the Dawn Launcher. This is the best alternative to get all its performance, although in the future we will be able to change it for other versions of the mod community. A device with a very original design that we have to value.

This new portable console includes as its backbone an Allwinner A133 Plus SoC, quite popular in the retro console sector. A Quad Core processor made with 4 ARM Cortex-53 cores capable of reaching 1.8 GHz speed with aPowerVR GE8300 GPU that reaches 850 Mhz.
In terms of RAM we have 2 GB DDR4 and for internal storage we find 16 GB eMMC. We also have two slots for micro SD cards up to 512 GB where we can store games.
Display and other features
The retro Magicx Zero 40 (aka Ampown Zero 40) has a 4-inch IPS OCA touch screen in portrait format with a resolution of 800×480 pixels. As for controls, we have a configuration with a crosshair, analog control, four buttons, four triggers, volume, reset, start and select. The connectors we find are a 3.5 mm audio jack and two USB Type-C, one for charging and one OTG and for wireless connectivity we have Wifi 4 and Bluetooth 4.2.
This console offers us inside with two 1 W speakers, vibration motor and an internal battery of 4300 mAh that gives us up to 7 h of autonomy with a charging time of 2 hours. The dimensions are 136 x 105 x 17 mm, which makes it very compact for its screen size.
