The new MANGMI Pocket Max Android portable console has just been unveiled. It features an impressive 7-inch AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 144 Hz and is significantly more powerful than the previous MANGMI AIR X.
Inside its ergonomic body is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 685 SoC, which, with a score of 440,000 points on Antutu, is close to the Snapdragon 888 and above the Mediatek Dimensity 8000. Its controls are modular and can be easily replaced with others, as they are magnetically attached.
The operating system is Android 13, which includes various key remapping tools and tools for streaming and cloud gaming. Finally, it weighs 450 grams.
MANGMI Pocket Max specifications
This new laptop is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 685 SoC manufactured in 6nm. An Octa Core chip with high-performance ARM Cortex-A73 processors capable of reaching 2.8 GHz, four ARM Cortex-A53 processors with a maximum speed of 1.9 GHz, and an Adreno 610 GPU that reaches 614 MHz. A small fan actively cools the SoC.
This retro console includes 8 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128 GB of UFS 3.1 memory for storage.
Screen and other notable features
The MANGMI Pocket Max console has a 7-inch 16:9 OLED screen with a resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels, a refresh rate of 144 Hz, and a brightness of up to 800 nits.
In terms of controls, it has two sticks, a D-pad, four buttons, four triggers, two rear smart bumpers, and various function keys, as well as a 6-axis gyroscope. The connector is a USB Type-C 3.1 with DP 1.4 video output, micro SD card reader, and 3.5 mm audio jack.
This console has two stereo speakers, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, and an internal 8000 mAh battery with 27 W fast charging.
