Today we bring you a version of a TV-Box of the Mecool K series this time called Mecool KII PRO a device that seems to replace the Mecool KIII PRO, which has the same SoC S905D and also triple tuner satellite/TDTHD and cable. The external design is the same as the previous model and to find significant changes we have to look inside as it now has Android 7.1.2 and includes the HDCP 1.4 and Google Wideline L1 certificates that supposedly allow us to enjoy streaming YouTube 4K and Netflix 4K among others.
Mecool KII PRO includes the SoC of Amlogic S905D, a Quad Core very similar to the S905X but which is specially designed to be integrated in equipment with TDT and satellite tuners. This model includes the Quad Core Amlogic S905D SoC with Mali-450mp5 GPU capable of giving us 4K@60fps resolutions with support for HDR10 and HLG video. Inside we have integrated 2GB of DDR3 RAM, 16GB of storage memory eMMc, Bluetooth 4.0 and wifi aC. In terms of connectivity we find the usual in this series of TV-Boxes, four USB 2.0 ports, microSD card reader, CVBS analog audio and video output, 10/100 Ethernet connector, HDMI 2.0 port and SPDIF optical audio output. We also find the corresponding inputs for the DVB-C, DVB-T2 and DVB-S2 tuners with cccam support among others.
