MECOOL KM2 Plus Specifications
The Mecool KM2 Smart Box is powered by an AMlogic S905X4 SoC, a Quad Core manufactured in 12 nm. A chip with low power consumption, ARM Cortex-A55 processors that theoretically reach 2 GHz speed. It integrates a mid-range Mali-G31 MP2 GPU that allows us to play several demanding titles within the limitations of Android TV.
The VPU has AV1 decoding, it also includes HDR, HDR10 and HLG support, although in this case it does not have Dolby Vision. As for audio, it supports up to Dolby Atmos officially.
It has 2 GB of DDR4 RAM and 16 GB of eMMc storage that we can expand with a micro SD card reader that we find between the connectors.
In terms of wireless connectivity, we have Wi-Fi aC 2T2R dual-band and Bluetooth 5.0. The included connectors are a USB 2.0, another USB 3.0, AV connector, IR jack, Ethernet 10/100 and an HDMI 2.1 video output with support for up to 4K@60fps resolutions.
