Throughout this week we will have the TV-Box MECOOL M8S Plus DVB in promotion, at a reduced price. A team that includes as main attraction a DTB-T2/T tuner in its configuration. A basic equipment in the rest of its hardware since it includes only 1GB of RAM, a fairly low amount of memory to extract all the performance from this TV-Box, although if we are only going to use it to watch TV or as a mediaplayer can be enough.
SoC, RAM and storage
The new MECOOL M8S Plus DVB includes the Amlogic S905D SoC a Quad Core similar to the S905X but which is specially designed to be integrated into equipment with integrated tuners with a Mali-450mp5 GPU capable of taking video resolutions of up to 4K@60fps with Support for HDR10 and HLG. Inside we also have 1 GB of DDR RAM and 8 GB of storage memory that we can expand thanks to the microSD card reader that we have in the back of the box. A very discrete memory configuration to have a DVB-T2/T tuner.
Other specifications
At the level of wireless connectivity we have Dual Band WiFi and Bluetooth 4.1 and as connectors we find an HDMI 2.0 interface, a pair of USB 2.0 connectors, RJ45 10/100 network connector, an analog A / V output and the antenna input for the DVB-T2/T.
The operating system is Android 7.1 and includes among the accessories an infrared remote control.
