The first certified TV-Stick with the interesting Realtek RTD1325 processor, the new MECOOL MEgo 1 4K, is now available on the market.
This is a small streaming-oriented device, where ports are conspicuous by their absence, as we do not see even a sad USB 2.0. The cornerstone of this small device is its Realtek RTD1325 SoC, which includes support for technologies such as Dolby Atmos, AV1 and video enhancements with AISR and APQ algorithms. As in all certified devices, a Bluetooth remote control is included for use with different keys for direct access to streaming apps and includes a microphone for using the voice assistant.
Its operating system is Google TV 12 with integrated Chromecast, full access to the Google app store and the ability to play up to 4K quality video in paid streaming apps such as Netflix, Prime Video and others.

The processor of this small multimedia stick is a Realtek RTD1325. This is a Quad Core chip with Arm Cortex-A55 processors capable of reaching 1.7 Ghz and an Arm Mali-G57 MC1 iGPU. Its VPU includes AV1 and HDR10 video decoding.
We have only a single version with 2 GB of DDR4 RAM soldered on board and only 8 GB of storage that we could only expand through a HUB connected to the USB-C port.
Other features
In the field of wireless connectivity, this new Android Stick has dual-band Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.2. The included connectors are only a USB-C port for power, where we could surely connect a HUB and an HDMI 2.0 video output that can output video up to 4K resolutions.
