The new MediaTek Helio P95 Mid-Range SoC is now official, a Chip with virtually imperceptible improvements over the Helio P90 we now know all its specifications. This SoC continues to be manufactured by TSMC in 12nm FinFET and as “great” improvements it has greater support for cameras with more resolution, improved AI engine, a graphic improvement that the brand places at 10% thanks to the increase in its clock speed and the adoption of the MediaTek HyperEngine engine until now exclusive to the G series. A minimal evolution that little will be noticed in real life since the rest of its features are the same as those of the Mediatek Helio P90.
Like its little brother Helio P90, the new MediaTek Helio P95 includes two clusters, the first is a high-performance with 2 ARM Cortex-A75 processors capable of reaching 2.2Ghz while the second includes 6 ARM Cortex-A55 processors that reach a maximum speed of 2.0Ghz. The GPU this time is in the hands of the Imagination Technologies Chinese with a PowerVR GM 9446 and will allow screens up to resolutions of 2520 x 1080 (Full HD +).
This new MediaTek Helio P95 SoC supports up to 8GB of LPDDR4x memory in Dual Channel, UFS 2.1 storage and sensors up to 64 MP or dual 24 + 16 MP. It will also integrate GPS, WiFi aC, Bluetooth 5.0, FM Radio and a 4G LTE modem Cat-12 (Download) / Cat-13 (Upload).
- The SoC MediaTek Helio P95 will arrive very soon on the market and will be released in the exclusive Oppo Reno3 Pro for India.
Actually HyperEngine is an pretty neat feature which brings “60% shorter GPU rendering-to-display pipeline”, gamers should notice. Besides that it’s just natural upgrade to previous one.
