The new Meizu Note 16 has just been presented in society, a fairly inexpensive terminal with 5G connectivity and IP65 certified body.
To move this terminal is used a processor not very seen as is the Octa Core UniSoc T8200, which is below in power of the UniSoC T8300, is manufactured in 6 nm, and as a reference has a score of around 405,000 points in Antutu v9. An SoC with which we will have at all times a smooth performance in all kinds of apps and games and includes 5G connectivity.
Finally, the operating system is Android 15 with the Flyme AIOS 2 layer that, as it could not be otherwise, integrates different photo editing tools and others powered by iA.
Meizu Note 16 Specifications
Inside this new smartphone we find a UNISOC T8600 (T765) processor, an Octa Core that is manufactured in 6 nm EUV. This integrated has a high performance cluster, it has 2 Arm Cortex-A76 processors capable of reaching 2.3 Ghz and a second group with 6 ARM Cortex-A55 that reach 2.1 Ghz. The GPU is a mid-range ARM Mali-G57 mp2 that reaches a top speed of 850 Mhz.
We have 8/12 GB of LPDDR4X RAM on the motherboard that can be expanded up to 20 GB using 12 GB extra from the storage memory. Regarding internal storage, we have UFS 2.2 type memory with 256 and 512 GB options.
Display and other features
The display chosen for the Meizu Note 16 is a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with an FHD resolution of 2460 × 1080 pixels, 120 Hz refresh and a maximum brightness of 1050 nits. On the top front of the display we have an 8 MP camera with microphone that complements the main 50 MP rear with flash that is supported by a 2 MP depth one.
This new handset sports a 5G / 4G-LTE Multiband modem with Dual SIM tray, Dual Band Wi-Fi aC wireless connectivity, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, gyroscope, GPS 4-in-1 and a 6600 mAh battery with 40W fast charging. In terms of connectivity, we have a USB Type-C port for charging and oh surprise a 3.5 mm audio jack. To unlock this new Meizu we have a fingerprint reader on one side and for sound it incorporates a single speaker.
Price and availability
- The new Meizu Note 16 will be released for sale in China for a price that will be around only 100 € and as always will soon appear in stores like AliExpress.
