Today we find for sale a new mini PC nominated MeLe Overclock3C. A version with the design of the fanless Quieter series, but this time with active fan.
Inside this new extra-flat computer we now have a fan to cool the CPU and extract hot air from inside. An addition that makes it lose the grace that had their passive versions and offers a more conventional hardware. Inside we find mounted a SoDIMM of 16 GB of RAM and a storage of 512 GB, two components that we can expand having the box.
On the perimeter of the case, we can find a good number of ports, highlighting the ability to use up to 3 screens at the same time. A system suitable for digital signage.
MeLe Overclock3C Specifications
The small MeLe Overclock3C computer is powered by an Intel Celeron N5095 processor manufactured in 10 nm with four cores and four execution threads that reach up to 2.9 GHz. For graphics we have an integrated Intel UHD Graphics GPU compatible with VP9 and h.265 video codecs up to 4K@60fps. A processor and GPU that does not allow us to play demanding 3D titles, but it does allow us to use the device for many other tasks or even with many emulators.
For the RAM we have installed a 16 GB DDR4 SODIMM that we can change for another module of up to 32 GB. As for storage we have a rather odd configuration, on the one hand, a 256 GB eMMC memory (slow) where we will find Windows installed and a 256 GB SSD in a M.2 NVMe 2280 port that allows us to install an SSD up to 4TB. We also have a micro SD card reader that supports drives up to 2TB.
Other features
In the field of wireless connectivity, we have a good endowment with Wifi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 with internal antennas. The connectors we find on the perimeter 3 USB 3.0 ports, USB-C for power, 3.5 mm combo audio jack and a Gigabit Ethernet connector. As video output we have two HDMI 2.0a, and a USB-C 3.1 connector with DisplayPort.
Along with the computer we have an external power supply. It includes a small VESA bracket and we also have a Kensington lock to secure it.
