In the last electronics show in Hong Kong MeLE has introduced its new mini-PC models based on Intel Atomic Apollo Lake and Kaby Lake processors. This new small computers come to join the recent Mele PCG35 Apo lineup, these devices continue with a line of specifications and similar design.
With the name of MeLE PCG63-APL2 we have new passive mini-PCs with Apollo Lake processors, while with the reference MeLE PCG63-KBL1 we find the same design with Kaby lake processors of low consumption and active ventilation. While in the APL2 version we have the possibility of Intel Celeron processors J3355, J3455 and Pentium J4205 in the model KBL1 we will find processors Intel Core i3-7100U, Core i5-7200U and Core i7-7500U. In these mini PCs as we see we continue with the design of the recent PCG35 Apo but in the front we have as novelty several connectors, something that is grateful when using it as desktop computer. As a differential point it seems that we can also mount the memory in a SODIMM type DDR3 module for the Apollo Lake and DDR4 for the Kaby Lake, those models are expected to be available from November.
In addition to the previous models MeLE also presents the new MeLE PCG37-APL4 and MeLE PCG37-KBL1 that change the design substantially and include an active fan on top, these mini PCs mount the same processors Apollo Lake and Kaby Lake than in the previous model. The design of these devices is much more compact and the memory will be integrated in the plate apparently, in the bottom that we will be able to mount a disc of 3.5 “SATA3. A mini PC that counts on HDMI video output, full size DisplayPort 1.2 that allows 4K@60fps resolution, USB 3.0, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and Gigabit Ethernet connector. These models are still in development and we hope to have more information soon.
On the other hand also has been presented a mini passive PC on Stick format with the name of MeLE PCHD26-APL3 that continues with the design that has given such good results in other similar products of this brand as the MeLE PCG02. In this new version we will have Intel Celeron N3350, N3450 or Pentium N4200 processors, combined with 2, 4 or 6GB RAM, 32GB of storage, USB 3.0 port, Gigabit Ethernet, HDMI 1.4 and Wifi AC. The system will be Windows 10 and a version with Ubuntu is expected. The approximate price will be $99 and is expected to go on sale in early 2018.
