We already have for sale in China the new Mijia Laser Projector 1S projector, a new laser with 4K resolution that compared to the previous generation basically comes improvements in brightness and contrast of around 30%.
This projector is of the short throw type, and we can use it by placing it only 14 cm from the projection surface and as you can see it maintains the external design of the previous model. We continue to find native support for HDR10 decoding and ALPD 3.0 technology for on-screen image enhancement. The operating system is PatchWall, the Xiaomi layer based on Android TV that includes voice control from the remote control. In the absence of launching the global version of this Laser projector at the moment we only have it available in Chinese language.

The Mijia Laser Projector 1S optics uses ALPD 3.0 laser technology with a native resolution of 3840 × 2160 pixels, a brightness of 2000 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 3000: 1. The focus as the keystone correction are automatic, and we can get a screen that goes between 80 and 150 inches with a projection distance that starts from only 14 cm. This projector also includes 2 speakers in its body with Dolby and DTS-HD certification.
Connections and other features
The Mijia Laser Projector 1S includes as core a Quad Core Amlogic T968-H SoC that has ARM Cortex-A53 processors and an ARM MALI-T830mp2 GPU with 2 GB of DDR3 RAM and 16 GB of eMMc storage memory, if we want to increase the storage memory we will have to use the USB port of this projector.
This projector also includes Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, while in the field of connectors we find three HDMI 2.0b ports, a 3.5 mm audio jack, SPIDF digital audio output, AV input, RJ-45 network connector and finally a USB 3.0 port.
