New mini PCs are beginning to appear on Aliexpress with the powerful Ryzen 4000 mobile designed for laptops, APUs manufactured in 7nm FinFET and with a very contained consumption.
Some mini PCs in the usual format with a metal case and a pair of external Wi-Fi antennas incorporate the AMD Hexa Core Ryzen 5 4600H and Octa Core Ryzen 7 4800H APUs as a novelty. Processors with more than enough power to move any program, multimedia suite and even many games thanks to its Vega GPUs. As is usual in the launches at the moment these mini PCs are at a fairly high price.
Processor, RAM and storage
This miniPC is available in two variants, the most powerful with a Ryzen 7 4800H an Octa Core with 16 threads capable of reaching 4.2 Ghz in turbo mode, and it has a Radeon Vega 7 GPU that reaches 1.6Ghz. The second version incorporates a Ryzen 5 4500H APU with six cores and eight threads that reaches 4 Ghz in turbo mode and incorporates a Radeon Vega 6 GPU, both cooled by a small fan.
In this mini PC we have versions with 8/16/32 GB of DDR4 RAM with 2 SODIMM Slots while for storage we find a 512 GB, 1/2 TB MVMe PCIx4 SSD and 2 SATA 3 connectors for a couple of more than 2.5 inches.
Other specs
For wireless connectivity we have an M.2 AX Wi-Fi 6 module with Bluetooth 5.1 for which we see a pair of external Wifi antennas. As connectors, we find on the perimeter of the metal box 2 USB 3.0 ports, 4 USB 2.0 ports, a USB Type-C for data and video, 10 / 100M / 1000M Network port, a pair of 2.5 mm audio jacks and HDMI 2.0 video outputs and a DisplayPort that allow resolutions up to 4K UHD at 60fps.
