Today we came across the new MINILOONG Pocket 1 retro console, which stands out for its modular design in some of its parts, allowing us to swap the design of the front panel and the look of its DPAD.
A horizontal handheld with a 4:3 screen, it includes the Rockchip RK3566 processor, found in many retro consoles, although it is quite old now. This chip allows us to run the included emulators for PSP,N64,PS1, and Dreamcast, as well as many more from other 8- and 16-bit consoles.
Inside the body, we find two micro SD readers, one for booting its Linux system, called LOONGOS, and another slot for game storage, although we also have 8 GB of internal storage.

This new console is powered by a Rockchip RK3566 processor manufactured in 22 nm. This processor is a Quad Core with low-power, 64-bit ARM Cortex-A55 cores that reach up to 1.8 GHz, with a Mali-G52 MP2 GPU and an NPU for AI with a power of 0.8 TOPS.
This retro console includes1 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 8 GB of eMMc memory for storage.
Screen and other notable features
The MINILOONG Pocket 1 console has a 4-inch IPS screen with a resolution of 960 × 720 pixels and a brightness of 450 nits. In terms of controls, it has two analog sticks, a D-pad, four buttons, four triggers, start, select, reset, and a function key. The connectors include a USB Type-C OTG, a 3.5 mm audio jack for connecting headphones, an HDMI video output, and two micro SD card readers.
