Introducing the new Minisforum AI X1 Pro mini PC, a machine with a powerful new generation AMD Strix Point processor and OCulink connector.
The elegant Minisforum AI X1 Pro is presented in an attractive aluminum case with an eye-catching fingerprint reader on top. As engine we have the high-end processor for laptops AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 with 12 cores and 24 threads that reaches up to 5.1 GHz and with a core for AI with 50 TOPS of power. As graphics engine we have the Radeon 880M GPU that works up to 2.7 GHz and is manufactured with the new RDNA3.5 architecture that offers high performance.
A small computer with integrated power supply that is ideal for all types of work for its power, even for quite demanding games, adjusting the graphics quality of them.
Minisforum AI X1 Pro Specifications
On the motherboard of this mini PC we find the AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 processor which is manufactured by TSMC in an efficient 4 nm. This is a chip with 12 cores, on one side, 4 powerful Zen 5 and on the other 8 Zen 5C with low power consumption, 24 threads and reaching a speed of up to 5.1 GHz. Naturally, we find a 50 TOPS AI core for artificial intelligence tasks. We find a Radeon 880M GPU of the new generation RDNA 3.5, with 16 CU and reaching up to 2900 MHz. A processor with which we can move any demanding design app and play many demanding titles in decent quality.
As for the RAM we have two SODIMM DDR5 5600 MHz slots that allow us to use them in Dual Channel configuration. For storage we have three M.2 2280 NVMe PCIe x4 SSD slots, which allow us to add up to 12 TB of storage.
Connectivity and other features
In the wireless connectivity section we have a Wifi 7 and Bluetooth 5.3 adapter. As connectors on the front of the case we find 3.5 mm audio jack, a USB4, two USB-A 3.2 and a small button to reset the BIOS. On the rear side there is another USB4 port, a USB-A 2.0 port, OCulink port for connecting an external GPU and two high-speed Ethernet 2.5 GB network connectors. As video outputs we can use two HDMI 2.1 ports and DisplayPort 1.4 with 8K@60 HDR support which gives us the possibility to connect up to 4 simultaneous displays adding the USB4 ports.
This computer includes Windows 11 PRO as a system, but if we want we can install a Linux distribution, as it is compatible. It also has VESA support for hanging it on a monitor, also has two microphones to give orders to the installed assistant.
