Minisforum continues to expand its catalogue of low-consumption mini PC options with its new MINISFORUM GK50, a totally silent mini PC, as it lacks fans.
This new minisforum also draws our attention because it includes a low-consumption Intel N5030 processor from the Gemini Lake Refresh family, which until now we had not seen in Chinese mini PCs and with a TDP of only 6 W. A Chip that in conjunction with Its 8 GB of RAM will allow us to run office programs without problems, navigate or view multimedia content and with a point that we highlight compact miniPC such as its double 4K UHD video output.
Processor, RAM and storage
As an engine, the MINISFORUM GK50 includes an Intel Pentium Silver N5030 processor, a Quad Core with four threads manufactured in 14nm that reaches up to 3.10 Ghz and includes an Intel HD 605 GPU that reaches 750 Mhz. The RAM is 8 GB LPDDR4 that is soldered on the board and includes a 128/256 GB capacity M.2 2280 SSD for storage and a bay to house a 2.5 “storage unit with SATA3 connector.
Other specs
Regarding wireless connectivity, this small PC includes dual-band Wi-Fi aC and Bluetooth 5.0 with internal antenna. In terms of connectors we have 4 USB 3.0 ports, 2 3.5 mm audio jack, micro SD card reader, 2 Gigabit Ethernet network ports, HDMI 2.0 video output and a mini DisplayPort connector, both with support for video output up to 4K @ 60fps resolutions.
This small computer also has a digital microphone on its front, includes a Kensington anchor chassis and includes a small VESA-type compatible bracket.
