MINISFORUM Mini PC a new passive model with Intel Apollo Lake

Today we bring a new passive mini PC with the curious name of MINISFORUM Mini PC, a model that reminds us powerfully of another Beelink model but for what it seems it has a changed design. A totally passive device that comes with two different processors from the Apollo Lake family, a processor sufficient for daily use as a mini desktop PC or multimedia center. Inside we can mount a disk drive in M.2 format to expand its internal storage.

MINISFORUM Mini PC has two versions one with Intel Celeron N3450 processor and another with Intel Pentium N4200, both with fully passive cooling (0 noise). They have integrated 4 GB of LPDDR3 RAM, 32 GB of expandable storage memory through a M.2 2242 disk, dual band wifi and Bluetooth 4.0. In terms of connectivity we find three USB 3.0 ports, VGA video outputs and HDMI 1.4 that supports 4K@30fps, SD card reader, Gigabit network connector and audio jack.

As operating system in this mini PC we found included Windows 10, which we can use with 2 monitors at the same time thanks to the two video outputs available, an interesting device for a light desktop use.

  • MINISFORUM Mini PC can be purchased at Gearbest.com from about $159 with shipping included

Is this better than the Alfawise S95?

Kim

This is a Mini PC with Windows.
Alfawise S95 is a TV-Box with Android.
Different options, think in what OS you need.
