The new MINISFORUM MS-03 desktop mini-computer has been announced a machine with high computing performance that is also designed for AI tasks.
At the heart of this machine is the Intel Core Ultra X7 356H, a solution that allows us to run any demanding app without limitations. For graphics, it features the new Intel Arc iGPU with Xe3 cores. Additionally, it includes a dedicated NPU to run various AI models locally. It comes with two 10G optical network ports for setting up a high-performance server.
This machine also features a PCIe slot where we can connect a U.2 storage drive, allowing us to use drives up to 15 TB.
MINISFORUM MS-03 Specifications
This mini PC is powered by the Intel Core Ultra X7 356H processor, featuring 16 cores (4P 8E 4LPE) with a clock speed of 1.5 / 4.7 GHz and power consumption ranging from 15 to 80 W. The GPU is an Intel Arc B390, which integrates 4Xe cores running up to 2.45 GHz, offering image and performance enhancements via XeSS. It also includes an NPU for artificial intelligence tasks capable of up to 50 TOPS; combined with the CPU, this brings the total to 90 TOPS.
For RAM, the board features 128 GB of soldered-on DDR5 LPDDR5X 7200 MHz memory. For storage, there are three slots for 2280 NVMe PCIe 5.0 SSDs, allowing for up to 12 TB of storage, which can be combined with a U.2 drive via the compatible PCIe slot for up to 15 TB.
Other notable features
In terms of wireless connectivity, it features an M.2 card with Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and two 10G optical ports, as well as 10G and 2.5G Ethernet connectors. For ports, it features multiple USB-A ports, two USB4 ports supporting up to 40 Gbps, two 3.5 mm audio jacks, and video outputs including HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.4, and 2x USB-C. In total, you can connect up to four displays at once with 8K@60 HDR resolutions.
The chassis of this mini PC weighs just 1.78 liters undoubtedly a very compact computer. Its dimensions are 196×189×48 mm, and it weighs 1.4 kg.
