New version of this family of mini PCs presented now with the name of MINISFORUMNAB7 that mounts this time the powerful Intel Core i7-12700H.
This Intel Core i7-12700H processor with 14 cores allows to launch any powerful calculation offering maximum performance. In addition, this computer presents multiple ports, we have four video outputs with output resolution up to 4K and 2.5G network ports. It also highlights its new improved ventilation system, offering more air vents, liquid metal and fan in the NVMe SSD.
On the other hand, we are surprised that it still mounts DDR4 memory instead of DDR5, an interesting point to improve the performance of the integrated Intel Xe GPU.
MINISFORUM NAB7 Specifications
The new MINIS FORUM NAB7 includes a powerful Intel Core i7-12700H processor manufactured in 10nm (Intel 7). This chip has 6 cores performance 8 efficient, plus we have a total of 20 threads of execution. The performance cores can reach up to 4.7 GHz and the efficient ones up to 3.5 Ghz. The integrated GPU is an Intel Iris Xe with a total of 96 execution units and a maximum speed of 1.40 GHz. This allows us to play a good number of demanding games in 1080p quality.
For RAM we have two slots SO-SIMM DDR4 3200 Mhz where we can install up to 64 GB. For storage we have an SSD M.2 2280 NVMe PCIe 4.0 connector and another SATA3 with space for a 2.5-inch storage unit.
Connectivity and other features
We also have an M.2 slot to connect a Wifi/Bluetooth adapter that we must buy, as it seems that we do not have it installed. On the perimeter of the case we have 4 USB 3.2 Type-A ports, a USB 3.2 Type-C, 3.5 mm audio jack and two RJ45 2.5GB network connectors.
Also in the video section, we have HDMI 2.0 video output ports with 4K@60 HDR support and another USB-C (DisplayPort only) also with support for UHD resolutions.
A small external 19 V power supply and VESA support are included by default. The operating system on the SSD versions is Windows 11 Pro.
