It seems that the Minisforum TL50 miniPC is starting to be seen in Chinese online stores where it also appears in more versions than those seen in its presentation, as it can even be purchased without storage.
The RAM memory is 12 GB for all versions and is not expandable, as it is soldered on the motherboard. As it is a trademark of the house the Minisforum TL50 comes in a small format box and this time includes an Intel 11 generation processor with a fairly solvent GPU such as an Intel Iris Xᵉ, of this chip you can see our Review in detail. We also find a versatile Thunderbolt 4 port, where we would even have the option to connect an external GPU thanks to its data transmission capacity as a relevant element.
Processor, RAM and storage
The mini Minisforum TL50 for now will come out with the Intel Core i5-1135G7 processor, a Quad Core with eight threads with a maximum speed that reaches up to 4.2 GHz and integrates an Intel Iris Xe G7 GPU with 80 EU. As for memory, 12 GB of LPDDR4 RAM on board, while for storage it includes an optional M.2 SSD 256/512 GB capacity and we have an internal bay for another 2.5″ drive.
Connectivity and other specifications
Inside this mini PC we have in the field of wireless connectivity a Wifi 6 AX200 adapter and Bluetooth 5.1 with internal antenna. On the perimeter of the case we have 4 USB 3.0 ports, two USB 2.0, a Thunderbolt 4 for data and video, 2 3.5 mm audio jacks, two RJ45 Gigabit 2.5 G network connectors, HDMI 2.0 video output ports with 4K@60 HDR support and another DisplayPort also with support for UHD resolutions.
