A mini PC that stands out for its attractive exterior design, since it has a metal case manufactured in CNC with a height of only 3.4 cm. Inside, its LPDDR5 RAM memory stands out, a pity it is not expandable and its Intel N100 quad-core processor with a TDP of 6W TPD, manufactured in 10 nm (Intel 7) of which you can read our review.
Also, and despite its size, we like its good amount of ports for a mini PC that can serve us perfectly for productivity, browsing the web and as a multimedia player without problems.
Specifications of the Minisforum UN100
In the new Minisforum UN100 we find the Intel N100 processor manufactured in 10 nm with four cores and four execution threads that reach up to 3.4 GHz. For the graphics section, we have an integrated Intel UHD Graphics GPU with 24EU compatible with VP9 video codecs and h.265 up to 4K@60fps. This processor and GPU that is not designed for games with powerful 3D, but that does allow us to use the device for other daily multimedia or office tasks in a fluid way.
In the RAM memory section we have 8/16 GB LPDDR5 4800Mhz that are soldered on the board and cannot be expanded. For storage, we have capacity for an M.2 2280 SSD that we find in different sizes, and we have space for another internal 2.5-inch SATA 3 drive.
Other features
For wireless connectivity, the Minisforum UN100 includes an M.2 module with dual-band Wi-Fi aC and Bluetooth 4.2. In the connector area we have a micro SD card reader on one side, two USB 3.2 Gen1 ports, two USB 3.2 Gen2, 3.5 mm audio jack, 2 Gigabit Ethernet ports, a USB Type-C connector with data / DisplayPort and PD fast charging and 2 HDMI 2.0 video outputs that allow you to play video up to 4K@60fps resolution without problems.
