The new MINISFORUM X1 Lite mini PC is now available, a computer with an aluminum case that offers OCuLink connector to install an external GPU.
This attractive computer mounts the AMD Ryzen 7 H 255 processor, an Octa Core with Zen4 Hawk Point technology. A good solution for the price that will allow you to run all kinds of programs and games without any problem by adjusting detail levels. Despite this name, it is basically the classic AMD Ryzen 7 8745H remarked, a coding strategy that we have seen multiple times by major chip manufacturers. Inside this case we have a good cooling system that will keep temperatures at bay.
This mini PC undoubtedly stands out for its good number of connectors, as we find USB4 and OCuLink connectors that allow us to get the most out of an eGPU, using for example the MINISFORUM DEG1 dock.

Inside this mini PC as engine we have the Octa Core AMD Ryzen 7 255 processor which is manufactured in 4 nm with Zen4 technology. An Octa Core with sixteen threads, with a maximum speed of 5.1 GHz and an NPU with 58 TOPS. It includes a powerful 12-core Radeon 780M iGPU that reaches a speed of 2.6 GHz. A hardware with which we can move any demanding design app and games up to a certain level.
As for RAM memory we have DDR5 SODIMM 5600 MHz Dual Channel up to 256 GB capacity if we can afford it. For storage we have two connectors for SSD M.2 2280 NVMe PCIe4.0 so we can have up to 8 TB.
Ports and operating system
For wireless networks we have Wifi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2. As connectors, we have a 3.5 mm audio jack, two USB-A 3.2 Gen2, two USB4 ports (full), a USB 2.0, OCuLink interface (64 Gbps) and two Ethernet 2.5 GB network ports. As video outputs we have at our disposal an HDMI 2.1, a DisplayPort 1.4 and the two USB4 with DP 2.1 video output with 8K@60 HDR10 support which gives us the possibility to connect up to 4 simultaneous displays if we want.
This small computer includes as system Windows 11 Pro, but we can also install Linux. It comes with a small external power supply and VESA support for hanging it on a monitor.
