Today we present the new mini PC of the MINIX brand with the name of MINIX NEO N42C-4 a product with interesting features aimed at its use as a desktop computer, point of sale or control a digital signage screens, it can be used in corporate or industrial networks thanks to its Windows 10 Pro license. As the core we have the Intel Pentium N4200 processor, we have three video outputs and has a USB Type-C port that can be powered electrically, it is also expandable in storage and RAM DDR3L in Dual Channel configuration.
MINIX NEO N42C-4 is powered by the Intel Pentium N4200 Quad Core processor capable of reaching 2.5Ghz in burst mode and in which we find an Intel HD Graphics 505 GPU. This mini pc can maintain good performance in any scenario as it is It has integrated an active fan with its corresponding perforations in the box. Inside we have by default 4 GB of DDR3L RAM but it is expandable up to 8 GB working in Dual Channel since it has two SO-DIMM slots, as standard internal storage we have 32 GB eMMC 5.1 MLC that we can expand with an internal M.2 unit with SATA3 speed. This mini PC includes a Wi-Fi ac dual band adapter with internal antennas and Bluetooth 4.1.
The MINIX NEO N42C-4 mini PC has triple video output, we have an HDMI 1.4 connector that gives us 4K@30fps, miniDP 1.2 output that allows 4K@60fps and finally a USB Type-C 3.1 connector that allows us to take video at 4K@60fps (without audio), a connector that allows to power it electrically with what we only need a cable for video and energy although, for this feature we need a monitor compatible with this technology. We also have TOSLink compatible audio output jack, Gigabit Ethernet port, Kensington lock and 3 USB 3.0 ports. The operating system installed by default in this miniPC is Windows 10 Pro, which makes it ideal also for industrial application, within the BIOS we have the possibility to activate remote power-on system or Automatic recovery from a shutdown.
