New mini PC now available under the name of MINIX NEO Z150-AERO, a device that now receives an Intel N150 processor and improves its network with a Wifi 6 adapter.
The compact MINIX NEO Z150-AERO is an updated version of the previous MINIX NEO Z100-AERO, which we reviewed in detail. As processor we now have the popular Intel N150, where we find four cores that can reach up to 25 W TPD, an increase in consumption that raises its maximum power compared to the N100. A sufficient system for office, surfing the Internet, multimedia consumption and light games without much 3D load.
Among its connectors we have threevideo outputs, something that allows it to be used for example in digital signage. The fan that mounts also affects the SSD and RAM for maximum efficiency.
MINIX NEO Z150-AERO Specifications
The new Minix mini PC integrates the Intel N150 (Twin Lake-N) processor, manufactured in 10 nm with four cores and four execution threads, reaching 3.6 GHz. In terms of graphics power, we have the integrated Intel UHD Graphics GPU with 24 EU compatible with VP9, h.265 and AV1 video codecs up to 4K@60fps. This processor allows us to use the device for other daily multimedia or office tasks.
As for the RAM memory, we have a SODDIM of 16 GB DDR4 at 3200 MHz, we can expand or replace it. For storage we have a 512 GB NVMe M.2 2280 SSD that we can also expand up to 4 TB.
Other notable features
In the connectivity section, we have a 2.5G Ethernet port and another Gigabit, this version mounts a better wireless adapter with Wifi 6 and Bluetooth 5.1. In the connector area we find on the perimeter of the case three USB 3.2 Gen1 up to 5 Gbps, a USB-C with DisplayPort video output and a 3.5 mm audio jack. It also has HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort 1.4 video outputs that allow video playback up to 4K@60fps HDR resolutions.
Windows 11 Pro is installed by default, but a Linux version can be installed if required. DC power adapter and VESA bracket for hanging on a monitor are included.
