The MINIX Z150-0dB is a new version of the MINIX Z100-0dB fanless mini PC, the only change we observe is in its processor, since everything else is 100% the same.
In this new version, the Intel N100 processor is replaced by the recent Intel N150 processor, a chip manufactured in 10 nm that is having great success in the market and of which you can read our review and comparison with all the details. The rest of the specifications and connectivity remain the same, and of course the case that helps the passive heat dissipation is the same.
A mini PC suitable for lovers of silence, for use in places where dust can be a problem and is built to stay on 24 hours a day without problems.
MINIX Z150-0dB mini PC Specifications
Inside this new mini PC version, we find as engine an Intel N150 (Twin Lake-N) processor manufactured in 10 nm with four cores and four execution threads, reaching 3.6 GHz. In terms of graphics power, we have the integrated Intel UHD Graphics GPU with 24EU compatible with VP9 and h.265 video codecs up to 4K@60fps. This processor allows us to use the device for other daily multimedia or office tasks smoothly.
For RAM memory, we have available versions with 8/16 GB DDR4 3200Mhz in a SO-DIMM slot. It also includes an M.2 2280 PCIe SSD with 256/512 GB capacity options and a micro SD card reader on one side.
Other notable features
For network connectivity we have a 2.5G Ethernet port, Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 with two external antennas. As for connectors we find on the perimeter of the case, 3 USB-C 3.2 Gen2 ports, a USB-A USB 3.2 Gen2, 2 USB 2.0, 3.5 mm audio jack with microphone support and 2 HDMI 2.1 video outputs that allow 4K@60fps video playback without problems.
