Today we have a new mini PC in barebone format called MoreFine S100 that integrates the 8th generation Intel Kaby Lake R processors and accepts DDR4 RAM. A model that has several configurations and has active ventilation to keep temperatures low, among the storage options it has an M.2 slot and, as connections, it has an HDMI 2.0 video output that allows 4K@60fps even in Netflix.
Processor, RAM and storage
The miniPC MoreFine S100 has the interesting Intel Core i5-8250U processor with four cores and eight threads that reaches up to 3.40 GHz, integrates an Intel HD Graphics 620 GPU, consumption in this model seems limited to 15 W TPD. In terms of memory we have options between zero and 4/8/16GB DDR4, in terms of storage we also have a maximum of 240GB in an SSD drive we assume in M.2 format since the box does not seem to have room for one of 2.5 “.
Connectivity and other features
This miniPC includes a card with WiFi aC and Bluetooth 4.0 installed in an internal PCIe M.2 2230 slot. In terms of connectivity we find 2 USB 3.0 ports, 2 USB 2.0, 1 USB Type-C port, HDMI 2.0, 2 3.5mm audio jacks and a Gigabit network connector. The two models with RAM and disk come with Windows 10 as standard, this mini PC includes a VESA support and external power adapter.
