Lenovo continues to expand its tablet business and is now launching the Moto Pad 70 in India, a tablet with a high-resolution 12.1-inch display that may eventually make its way to the West, albeit under a different name, and which stands out for its 5G connectivity.
Inside this Motorola device’s IP64-rated metal body is a 6-nm Mediatek Dimensity 6400 processor—a minor upgrade over the Dimensity 6300, which scores around 550,000 points on AnTuTu v11. It features 8 GB of LPDDR4X RAM, and for storage, there are options with 128 and 256 GB of high-speed UFS 2.2, which can be expanded via a microSD slot up to 2 TB.
The display is a 12.1-inch LTPS panel with a resolution of 2560 × 1600 pixels, a maximum brightness of up to 800 nits, a 90 Hz refresh rate, and a 16:10 aspect ratio. It also supports the Moto Pen stylus, although it must be purchased separately.
At the top, there’s an 8 MP camera with a microphone that complements the 13 MP rear camera with flash. It also features Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.2, and, for audio, four speakers compatible with Dolby Atmos. As for connectivity, on one side there’s a USB-C 2.0 port for data transfer and charging, along with a POGO connector. The battery has a capacity of 10,200 mAh with fast charging up to 68 W, and the operating system is Android 16.
