It is about to arrive at the market the new Motorola edge 60 neo a compact mid-range of this 2025 that promises to be very well received as its successor the Motorola edge 50 neo.
This new terminal follows in the wake of the previous generation with a very similar design and a resistant body with IP68, IP69 and MIL-STD-810H certifications. Its processor takes a small leap, as it now opts for a Mediatek Dimensity 7400, a little more powerful than the previous Dimensity 7300, as is the case with its cameras. Where the evolution is noticeable is in the battery, since it is now 5200 mAh, much better than the 4310 mAh battery used in the Neo 50, which had received a lot of criticism.
The operating system is Android 15 and stands out for being one of the cleanest versions we can find with hardly any preinstalled apps.
Motorola edge 60 neo specifications
The SoC of this new Motorola smartphone is the Mediatek Dimensity 7400, an Octa Core manufactured in 4 nm. Within this integrated we have two clusters, the most powerful with 4 ARM Cortex-A78 processors that reach 2.6 Ghz and the most efficient with 4 ARM Cortex-A55 processors that reach 2.0 Ghz. The GPU is a Mali-G615 MC2 that reaches 1047 Mhz and includes support for HDR10 technology. We also have an NPU 655 for artificial intelligence work.
The RAM has versions with 8 or 12 GB LPDDR4X although as always we can expand it virtually with the storage memory. For storage we have options with 256 /512 GB UFS 3.1 that we can also expand via micro SD slot up to, we assume, with 2 TB capacity cards.
Display, cameras and autonomy
The display panel used by this Motorola is a 6.36-inch pOLED with a resolution of 2670 x 1200 pixels, maximum brightness of 3000 nits, 120 Hz refresh rate and includes Gorilla Glass 7i protection.
For selfies we have on the front a 32 MP camera that complements the rear sensors integrated in a circular module, with a 50 MP SONY LYTIA OIS main sensor supported by a 13 MP wide-angle and a 10 MP telephoto x3. We also have fingerprint reader integrated in display, 5G/4G LTe connectivity with Dual SIM / eSIM, Wifi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC and GPS 4 in 1 for precise positioning anywhere
As for connection interfaces, in this new terminal we find a USB Type-C 2.0 OTG port for data and recharging. The battery is 5200 mAh with fast charging up to 68 W, wireless 15 W and for audio we have Dolby Atmos compatible stereo speakers.
