We have already officially announced the new Motorola Edge 70 a mid-range smartphone that stands out among other things for having a thickness of only 5.99 mm and a weight that stays at 159 grams.
Despite its contained measures its metal body includes IP69/IP68 and MIL-STD 810H military certifications that guarantee good resistance to falls, dust and water. The recent Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 SoC is responsible for managing this Motorola, a processor that gives a good leap in performance and features over the previous Gen 3 and also comes accompanied by 12 GB of RAM. Its 6.67″ pOLED screen with 2.7K resolution and its three 50 MP cameras are other interesting points of this complete mid-range in which Motorola seems to have done a good job.
As operating system we have Android 16 and has assured security updates for more than 5 years (until 06/2031).

Motorola Edge 70 Specifications
Inside this new terminal we find the recent Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 SoC, an Octa Core manufactured in 4 nm by TSMC. Inside we have 1 high performance ARM Cortex-A720 core up to 2.8 GHz, 3 other ARM Cortex-A720 cores at 2.4 GHz and finally 4 ARM Cortex-A520 low power cores that reach up to 1.84 GHz. It integrates an Adreno GPU that theoretically ensures 30% better performance than the previous version.
The on-board RAM memory is 12 GB LPDDR5X, which allows us to load multiple apps or navigation tabs. For storage we have options with 256 GB uMCP expandable by micro SD card up to 1 TB.
Other features
The screen of the Motorola Edge 70 is a 6.67″ pOLED display, with a resolution of 2712 x 1220 pixels with HDR support, maximum brightness of 4500 nits, a refresh of up to 120 Hz and protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 7i. In the photographic section we have a 50 MP OIS main rear camera, 50 MP wide-angle, while in the front area we have a 50 MP camera.
For audio we find two speakers and the battery is 4800 mAh with fast charging 68 W and wireless 15 W. For connectivity we have Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, GPS and an eSIM compatible 5G modem. As interfaces, we find a single USB-C port while in this case the fingerprint reader to unlock the smartphone is integrated into the screen. For audio we have two Dolby Atmos compatible speakers and two microphones with noise cancellation.
