Motorola Edge 70 Fusion, a new and durable mid-range phone now available

Motorola’s new state-of-the-art mid-range device, the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion, is now available for purchase and offers excellent value for money.

This device comes with the brand’s signature design and a body that is IP68, IP69, and MIL-STD-810H certified, meaning it will last a long time even if we don’t treat it well. Powering this new generation is a Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor capable of running most apps and games smoothly, with a benchmark score of around 800,000 points on Antutu V9.

The screen is also one of its strong points, as it features a 6.78″ curved AMOLED display with a high brightness of up to 5200 nits . In terms of cameras, we have a Sony LYTIA 710 sensor, which is a first for us and will presumably give us good quality. Finally, the operating system is Android 16 with security updates guaranteed for 5 years.

The SoC chosen for this new device is a Snapdragon 7s Gen 3, an Octa Core manufactured in4 nm. This is a chip with 1 ARM Cortex-A720 processor reaching 2.5 GHz, 3 ARM Cortex-A720 processors reaching 2.4 GHz, and 4 ARM Cortex-A520 processors reaching 1.8 GHz. In terms of graphics, it has an integrated ADRENO 810 GPU, which allows us to play demanding games with complete fluidity.

The RAM integrated into the motherboard is 8 GB LPDDR4X, which allows us to load multiple apps or browser tabs. For storage, we have options with 256 GB UFS 2.2, expandable by micro SD card up to 1.5 TB.

Screen and other features

The Motorola Edge 70 Fusion has a 6.78″AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2772 x 1272 pixels, brightness reaching peaks of 5200 nits, a refresh rate of up to 144 Hz, and protection from the renowned Corning Gorilla Glass 7i. In terms of photography, it has a SONY LYTIA 710 main rear camera with 50 MP OIS, a 13 MP wide-angle lens for macro shots, and a 3-in-1 light sensor, while the front has a 32 MP camera.

For audio, there are two Dolby Atmos-compatible speakers, two noise-canceling microphones, and a 5200 mAh battery with fast charging up to 68 W. For connectivity, there is Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 6, GPS, and a 4G/5G modem with Dual SIM and eSIM. In terms of interfaces, there is a single USB-C 2.0 port, while in this case, the fingerprint reader for unlocking the smartphone is integrated into the screen.
