The Mpad14 is a typical Chinese tablet that would go completely unnoticed in terms of specifications if it were not for its large screen, no less than 14.1 inches.
A screen that makes it suitable for use as if it were a laptop or as a small TV. The processor in charge of moving its Android 12 is an Octa Core Mediatek Helio G85, a Mediatek chip common in many smartphones that is on par in performance with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 665.
A tablet that brings as an extra 4G-Lte connectivity with DUAL SIM and that can serve us if we want to be always connected even if we do not have Wi-Fi at hand or simply use it as a small smartphone. The battery is quite large, 10,000 mAh so in theory we will have a quite interesting autonomy.
Specifications of the Mpad14
This tablet is powered by a MediaTek Helio G85 processor manufactured in 12 nm technology. This chip is an Octa Core that includes two clusters, one with 2 ARM Cortex-A75 processors capable of reaching 2Ghz and 6 ARM Cortex-A55 processors reaching 1.8Ghz with an ARM Mali-G52 mp2 GPU reaching 1000MHz.
We also have options of 6/12 GB of LPDDR4X RAM soldered on board. As storage we have versions with 128/256 GB UFS 2.1 that we can expand through the micro SD card reader up to 2 TB.
Display and other features
The Mpad14’s display is a 14.1-inch IPS TDDI with 1920 × 1080 pixel resolution, maximum brightness of 600 nits, 1500:1 contrast and refresh rate of up to 90 Hz. The cameras are an 8 MP front camera with microphone and a 16 MP rear camera with integrated LED flash.
In the tablet we also find a 4G-LTE Multiband modem with Dual SIM tray, Dual Band Wifi aC, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS 4 in 1, FM Radio and a 10000 mAh battery with 18 W fast charge that theoretically lets us watch up to 7 hours of video. For sound, we have four speakers, although they are not going to be of great quality.
As connectors we find a 3.5 mm audio jack in case we want to connect a cable headphone and a USB Type-C 2.0 port for data and recharge the internal battery comfortably.
