MSI Cubi NUC 1MG, new mini-PC with Intel Raptor Lake SoC

Today we have news about the new MSI Cubi NUC 1MG mini PCs, small machines intended for desktop and productivity use.

This is a mini PC from MSI based on the new Intel Raptor Lake processors manufactured in 10nm, with them we can move without problems any program by demanding resources that is. In the graphics section of its iGPU we find an old Intel HD that will only serve us for very basic game. Some teams with a very careful design that have won some prices for it.

Noteworthy features include the presence of two M.2 connectors for SSDs, two 2.5G Ethernet, two USB-C Thunderbolt 4 and the option of four video outputs.

MSI Cubi NUC 1MG Mini-PC Specifications

The small MSI Cubi NUC 1MG includes an Intel Core 7 150U processor manufactured in 10 nm (intel 7). This chip is an Octa Core with 2 high performance cores that reach up to 5.40 Ghz and other 8 efficient cores that reach 4 Ghz. The integrated GPU is an Intel UHD Graphics that reaches 1.30 GHz and includes 96 execution units. We also have versions with the Intel Core 5 120U SoC with 10 cores and Intel Core 3 100U with 6 cores.

For RAM we have two SO-DIMM DDR5 slots up to 64 GB 5200 Mhz in Dual Channel expandable. For storage we include NVMe 2280 and 2242 SSD slots up to 4 TB. We also have space for a 2.5″ SATA disk in the bottom cover.

Other notable features

For network connectivity in this mini PC we have Wifi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3 on an Intel AX 211 M.2 module and two 2.5G Ethernet network ports with Intel I226V. The rest of the ports we find distributed between the front and rear with we have two USB-C Thunderbolt 4 for data, video, DisplayPort and charging up to 100 W, 4 USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A, a 3.5 mm audio jack, microSD slot and 2 HDMI 2.0 video outputs.

The power supply of the MSI Cubi NUC 1MG is 120 W external, the installed operating system is Windows 11 if purchased with RAM and disk. A small VESA bracket is included to anchor it behind the monitor.
