Presented in society by MSI the new mini PC Cubi NUC AI Series. Compact computers for our office or desktop.
These new mini PCs integrate the recent 2 Generation Intel Core Ultra processors manufactured with Intel Lunar Lake technology. Thanks to the NPU, these machines provide a fairly high AI power, something interesting if we are going to use these tools to create content. In addition, they offer quite powerful specifications, including LPDDR5X 8533 MT/s RAM, the inclusion of internal speaker, microphone, 2.5G Ethernet ports and the option of fingerprint unlocking.
With their reduced dimensions, we can fit them in any corner of the office or workshop. They also allow the possibility of hanging them behind a monitor thanks to their included VESA mount.
MSI Cubi NUC AI Series Specifications
Inside the small MSI Cubi NUC AI 2MG Copilot PC we have three processor options, solutions that are part of the new 2 Generation Core Ultra with high and low performance cores. The manufacturing process is the efficient TSMC N3B, which ensures high efficiency.
- Intel Core Ultra 9 288V with 8 cores 4P 4E 3.3/5.1GHz, Intel Arc 140V GPU, TPD 17/37W, IA 120 TOPS
- Intel Core Ultra 7 258V with 8 cores 4P 4E 2.2/4.8GHz, Intel Arc 140V GPU, TPD 8/37W, IA 115 TOPS
- Intel Core Ultra 5 226V with 8 cores 4P 4E 2.4/4.5GHz, Intel Arc 130V GPU, TPD 8/37W, IA 97 TOPS
These mini PCs will be available in different versions combining RAM and storage. On board we find LPDDR5X 8533 MT/s soldered memory up to 32 GB. For storage we have a connector for SSD M.2 NVMe 2280 PCI 4.0 x4.
Other highlights
In the wireless connectivity section we have an adapter up to Wifi 6E/7 BT 5.x with internal antennas. We also have multiple front ports with two USB-A 3.2, micro SD, audio jack and power button with integrated fingerprint reader. In the rear area we have two 2.5G Ethernet network ports, two USB-A 2.0 ports and two USB-C Thunderbolt 4. In total we have three video outputs, adding the HDMI 2.1 connector with the two USB-C allow us to connect up to 3 screens in 4K@60fps HDR quality.
These new mini PCs have very compact dimensions. It has integrated VESA support and comes with an external power transformer. We are also surprised by the inclusion of a microphone and speaker inside the box. These computers are perfect for desktop, industrial use or signage.
